My name is Michelle Gordon-Akinola, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate. I obtained my Bacherlors degree in 2000 and Masters degree from Delaware State University in May 2002. After graduating I completed two years of clinical field word before working towards my licensure. My passion and expertise in the field is working in case management, crisis management, resource management, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational interviewing, smoking cessation, and anxiety reducing techniques. My population consists of dual-diagnosis clients.  My goal is providing excellent care to all clients I serve and ensuring everyone is provided with the same level of respect and courtesy to achieve optimal holistic health
